Description

As part of BikeFest, we at Transportation Services want to get everyone biking. If you have ever wanted to learn to ride a bike, this is the class for you. In this class, you will learn the basics of biking including starting, stopping, balancing, turning, and pedaling. These skills will allow you to bike to and from campus and get around town on your own.

This event will start at the Outdoor Center at Viking Union 150. Bikes and Helmets will be provided to participants for free. Please register for the event if you plan on coming so that we know how many bikes we will need.

Class Participants will have the option of receiving a set of free rechargeable bike lights, a bike multi-tool, or a bike handpump.

For disability accommodations, questions, or requests please contact Morgan Walden at atc@wwu.edu at least one week before the class. For more information on transportation and biking at Western, visit our website.
