Various Dorm Buildings Around Campus
Description
In Mid-September, Western will be welcoming over 4,000 on-campus residents and their families and assisting them with Move-In.
Each year, volunteers are an integral part of this this landmark occasion in the students’ and families’ lives. YOU can make this important transition a positive memory of the Western community by welcoming and supporting them. Move-in surveys always provide great feedback of our faculty and staff volunteers, indicating their assistance was paramount in making the move-in experience simple, welcoming, and positive.
Volunteers assist in many ways:
- Unloading vehicles, and moving belonging into buildings
- Checking out keys to students at the welcome tents
- Welcoming students as they wait in the lines to check in
- Driving golf carts to transport students and families from long term parking to the residence halls and apartments.
How to volunteer:
Groups: group sign-up form
Individuals: Individual sign up form
