Description

Join us as the Outdoor Center, Lakewood, and Counseling and Wellness Center team up to give you a spring Saturday at Lakewood designed to help you feel good and connect with nature! This event is free to all WWU students (and affiliated colleges: BTC, WCC, NWIC, etc.)! Non-students can pay a $15 entry fee which DOES include free access to boating rentals as well as the concert!

We will have a FREE shuttle running to and from campus all day! It will run every hour starting with pick-up from the Performing Arts Center at 11:30am, and the last shuttle from Lakewood will leave at 8pm. Want to drive and park on-site? Consider carpooling...it's free! As a solo driver, parking is $5!

Come explore kayaking, canoeing, paddling boarding, sailing and a host of other water activities with our trained staff. Want something more mellow? Enjoy our yoga on the docks, crafting cabin, face paint, and tie-dye station, or join in on a mindfulness activity like sound mapping or journaling while you kick back by the campfire, eat food from a food truck and dance along to our concert full of local performers starting at 5pm!

RSVPing to this WIN event is recommended but not required to attend this event! It helps us plan all the epic activities for the day! Bring your friends and come out for a day of good ol' fashioned FUN at Lakewood :)

FULL EVENT LIST TBD

Please email OC Marketing Coordinator Parker Eckardt at oc.marketing@wwu.edu if you have questions.
