Viking Union 740
Description
Join us Tuesday, May 6, in VU 740 at 4:00 PM for our collaborative Trans Tea with the DOC! This meeting will center the intersections between disability identities and gender nonconforming identities, with space to share our experiences whether we have lived experience in the disability community or not. Along with student staff from LGBTQ+ Western, we will be joined by Oscar, a student employee at the DOC, to talk about what it’s like to be both trans and disabled and share some resources for access both on and off campus.
—
Trans Tea is a space for trans-spectrum and non-binary students and allies to come together to discuss current events, learn about services and resources, and enjoy tea and snacks.
