Description

Kristina is originally from San Diego and currently works as a Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Bain. She has found a plethora of events and activities to keep her active in the community since moving to Whatcom County in 2016. Kristina is also the founder of the Mission Accomplished? social media platform which focuses on shedding light on local community equity projects and creating their own content. Mission Accomplished? was instrumental in organizing the August 27th march to declare racism as a health crisis in Whatcom County, and most recently, published a series of “Voter Education Videos” for the local 2020 general elections. Mission Accomplished? will continue to bring relevant and local information to the masses. Kristina was also a co-host of a local TV show called The Bellingham Tonight Show, interviewing local community leaders and people running for office. She has also done work with the Ferndale Chamber of Commerce and moderated the book “So You Want To Talk About Race” with members, and the co-founder of the currently under construction Whatcom County Racial Equity Commission.

She will be speaking on her experience in community activism in Bellingham, her path to where she is now, and the importance of getting involved to advocate for yourself and your community.

We will email the Zoom link to all registered participants prior to the event who register here.
