Description

Join Chris Edwards, staff psychologist in Western's Counseling Center, for shared space in cultivating self-compassion and mindfulness.

This gathering each week provides time to slow down, check-in with ourselves, connect with others, and explore mindful self-compassion. Focus will be on mindfulness, self-kindness, and common humanity. We hope to offer simple practices, opportunities to share, and to be in community with one another.

This is a drop-in series for Western students, staff, and faculty; attend as often as you'd like. This weekly program is open to all people in the Western community and will center the wellness of LGBTQ+ students.
