Description

The Great Puzzle Hunt is a scavenger hunt adventure with puzzles. Teams work virtually or travel on foot about WWU campus (outdoors) solving a total of four hour-long puzzles, gathering clues along the way to solve one final meta puzzle. These are no ordinary puzzles though! It will take a diverse set of skills and talents to solve them! Our mission is to celebrate everyone's talents and demonstrate knowledge comes in many forms. Everything is timed using your phone or laptop, QR codes, and an online game system! This year's puzzle hunt will be on Saturday April 9th from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. This year's event is hybrid with both in-person option open to WWU community or virtual option available to all! Anyone who wants to join the fun is welcome.

Teams can be made of up to six people, so gather your friends and/or family and prepare for a Saturday full of fun and puzzle solving! At the in-person event, there will be food, music, prizes, and a swag bag. Awesome designer shirts and outer wear are available on the website. The event is FREE this year, but you still need to register to form a team and receive your puzzles. Registration ends 11:59 pm PT April 8, 2022 or earlier if capacity is reached. Be a part of the fun on Saturday, April 9th 2022 for the 6th annual WWU Great Puzzle Hunt!

A big thanks to our sponsors, Paul & Faith Komarek, Richard Golding & Craig Cruz, David Brown & Kendra Williams, Haggen, WECU, Peoples Bank, Woods Coffee, WWU Department of Mathematics, WWU Associated Students, and the Western Associated Students Bookstore. Without their generous donations, this event would not be possible.
