Join the Outdoor Center, Student Rec Center, and Counseling Health and Wellness Advocates for a fun night of climbing, learning, and communicating. Students will learn about how the communication and safety culture practiced in climbing can be used as a metaphor and model for embodied consent. This 2 and a half hour workshop will build a foundation of climbing skills aiding you as you work towards a top rope certification. Additionally, students will participate in classroom learning and get experience on the wall, in a safe, supportive place to learn with and alongside peers. Join us to explore your personal comfort, needs, and boundaries through climbing, play, discussion, and skill-building practice.

By RSVPing you spot is confirmed PENDING. You must come into the Outdoor Center within 1 week of your initial registration date to confirm your spot on the Excursion.

Outdoor Center is closed during SPRING BREAK. If you sign up over Spring Break you must come into the Outdoor Center before Friday March 31st @ 4:30 to confirm your spot on the trip.
