Fall Lake Day @ WWU Lakewood

Come out and experience Lakewood at our Fall Lake Day, Saturday September 30th - noon to 6:00pm. All students are welcome to join us for this free event, especially those that are looking to experience Lakewood for the first time! A complimentary shuttle will leave from outside the Outdoor Center every hour during the event (see info below). If you choose to forge your own path to the Lake - directions can be found here. Once you and your friends arrive at Lakewood there will be a variety of FREE activities to take part in, on and off the water: 

• Guided sailboat rides
• 30’ canoe tours 
• Intro to paddling orientations 
• Boat rentals for students
• Lawn games
• Campfire and tunes
• Arts & crafts
• Board games
• Free lunch for the first 100 students

Shuttle Info:
Shuttles will depart from Lot 6V outside the Outdoor Center on the bottom floor of the Viking Union (on Garden St) every hour between noon and 4:00p. Return shuttles will leave Lakewood on the 1/2 hour and on demand after 4:30p, with the final shuttle leaving Lakewood at 6:00p. Limited seats available. The shuttles are intended for first year student's that do not have access to personal transportation. If the shuttles fill, students will be directed to take WTA line 512 to Lakewood.
