Description

Dr. Alassane Abdoulaye Dia, a visiting faculty member from Senegal during fall quarter, will delve into the fascinating journey of bridging continents and cultures through the lens of online education. He will share personal stories of university life before the advent of e-learning in Senegal, and he will talk about cross-cultural exchanges, collaborative projects, and the enriching experiences of WWU and Senegalese students.

Dr. Dia is Assistant Professor and Chair of the English Department at the Université Numérique Cheikh Hamidou KANE in Senegal (Ex UVS).
