Best Buddies

Best Buddies International is a 501(c)(3) non-profit dedicated to the inclusion of those with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Best Buddies WWU offers an inclusive space for people in the Bellingham community with IDD to create mutually enriching friendships with WWU students through group meetings and the option for matching in a one-to-one friendship pair.

We offer monthly group meetings as well as buddy match ups! You do not have to be in a one-to-one match up to join our community!
