Good emotional and physical health is achievable when people care about themselves and each other, make decisions and practice skills to enhance well-being, and respect each other as unique individuals.

At Western, we believe students who are actively encouraged and supported in their efforts to be well are better able to achieve their personal and academic goals. In Counseling, Health, and Wellness, our emphasis on personal and community well-being is reflected in the programs, services, and resources we offer through the Counseling and Wellness Center, the Student Health Center, and the Office of Student Resilience.
