Intersectional Action Club

About

It will be the purpose of the Intersectional Action Club to provide a collaborative space for students to pursue intersectional activism.

Originally coined by black female activist Kimberlé Crenshaw in the 1980s, intersectionality is a term used to acknowledge the advantages and disadvantages of various identities within society. The term connects privileges and discrimination individuals face within the broader context of current systemic injustices.
