About
NSLS-WWU became a chapter and AS club in 2016; in our fourth year, NSLS-WWU is the largest AS club. The Society's mission is building leaders who make a better world. The National Society for Leadership and Success (NSLS) is the nation's largest leadership honor society where our members come together to identify and achieve goals. You are selected by WWU for membership based on academic standing and leadership potential. Candidacy is a nationally recognized achievement of honorable distinction.
With 698 chapters, the NSLS currently has 1,036,665 members nationwide. In addition to honorable distinction, the Society provides a step-by-step program for our members to build your leadership skills through participation on campus (or online). Upon completion of the program, you receive your leadership certificate and take your place among the top student leaders at WWU and across the country. Members are able to list your affiliation on all statements of personal accomplishment, including your resume.
Membership is for life and provides access to benefits including scholarships and awards, exclusive on-campus events, employer recruitment through an online job bank, and discounts on computers, textbooks, grad school prep courses, insurance and much more. NSLS-WWU also engages in community service together.
