WWU Philosophy Club

About

Western Washington University's Philosophy Club officially started in 1992. We are a group of philosophy majors, minors, and anyone interested in discussing philosophical topics—such as ethics, metaphysics, existentialism, or epistemology. We are open to all viewpoints and all mindsets for a constructive and productive conversation.

We accept all walks of life and all majors—philosophy background not required!—and look to create an intellectual community made stronger through its inclusivity.

Regular Meetings are held in Bond Hall 415 at 6 p.m. in person bi-weekly on Wednesdays.

One per quarter the philosophy club hosts a lecture series in which a faculty member is invited to give a 30-minute talk on a topic of their choosing. The talk is followed by a conversation period. These meetings will be announced via email and Instagram and typically fall on a Wednesday at 6 p.m.
