Psychedelic Research Club
About
The Psychedelic Research Club is interested in academic research centering on the health effects of psychedelic medicine. The club's purpose is to share interests and resources regarding how psychedelics can be used as a tool in conjunction with existing practices. As a group, we will explore scholarly publications and follow current news on psychedelic medicine, staying current on this emerging, yet ancient field. As aspiring professionals, we intend to learn from leaders and other professionals within the field of psychedelics and explore educational pathways to address the growing need for mental health interventions. The Psychedelic Research Club also holds deep regard for Indigenous plant medicine practices and acknowledges the relationship between healing and spirituality as a valuable component to understanding our field.
The Psychedelic Research Club does not promote the recreational use, sale, or distribution of illegal drugs.
