Society of Professional Journalists

Our chapter works to spread the mission and ethics of SPJ while also meeting the specific needs of student journalists at Western. We use a combination of panels, workshops and discussions to help student journalists develop the skills they'll need in the field, create personal and professional connections as well as start conversations about new ideas emerging in the field.

We exist to help student journalists enhance and put to use what they learn in the classroom.
