South Asian Student Association

The South Asian Student Association (SASA) of WWU, first established in 1994 as "India Mystica," strives to further extend their love for the South Asian Culture. In 2004 the name of the group was changed to SASA in order to welcome more diversity into the group and now exists to create a welcoming environment for South Asians. We support the diverse number of nationalities, cultures, and ethnicities within our region. Informing the public about our club and the intricate values that we hold dear, are the fundamental goals for SASA. SASA hopes to share the diversity of cultures present in South Asia within the WWU community as well as with the public of Bellingham.
