WWU Society for the Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science (SACNAS) Chapter
About
SACNAS is an inclusive organization focusing on building a supportive community for those pursuing a STEM major. We work to help members integrate on campus and take full advantage of the available resources for a variety of purposes. In addition, we are passionate about outreach and encouraging diversity and inclusion within STEM. We plan events to help students find research opportunities, network with faculty and students, collaborate with other campus STEM clubs, and work to increase diversity within STEM.
You do not need to be Chicano or Native American to be in our club! We are the WWU Chapter of the National SACNAS organization.
FALL 2024: Tuesdays 5-6 PM in ISB 242
We post meeting reminders and updates on our Instagram (@WWU SACNAS)!
