Description

The Disability Access Center (DAC) and Disability Outreach Center (DOC) will be at the AS Fall Info Fair from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM on Monday, September 23 and Tuesday, September 24! The AS Fall Info Fair is a great opportunity to learn about what the DAC and DOC do, the services and resources we provide, and meet our professional staff and student staff. We will have information and resources about accessibility and inclusion on campus as well as fun prizes and snacks. Come stop by our table to chat and pick up some goodies! *Day 2 of the AS Fall Info Fair will be ‘sunflower hours’ meaning it will be low-sensory with no music or performances.

Check in by scanning the QR code at the event for a chance to spin our prize wheel to win one of our DOC giveaway prizes! After each event, people who answer the evaluation questions on WIN will be entered into a raffle to win a prize including Loop earplugs and Zenni FL-41 rose tinted glasses.

DisOrientation is the Disability Access Center (DAC) and Disability Outreach Center (DOC)’s Western Welcome programming. Join us for a week-long welcome (back) to Western for all students, including new first year, transfer, and graduate students as well as returning students. Join us to build community and connections, learn about how to access and navigate university services and resources at Western including the DAC and DOC, and have fun!
